- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. oil
- 2 eggs
- 2 chopped jalapeno peppers
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 c. grated cheese
Directions

1Mix all ingredients together well in a large bowl.

3Pour 1/2 of batter into the skillet. Sprinkle 1 cup grated cheese; then top with remaining batter. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
