  • 1 1/2 c. cornmeal
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 c. cream-style corn
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 c. Wesson oil
  • 1/2 large green pepper
  • 1/2 small red pepper or 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Directions

    Mix all ingredients except cheese.

    Put half of the mixture in pan and sprinkle the cheese over it.

    Add the rest of the mixture. Bake at 400° for 35 to 40 minutes.
