  • 1 c. cornmeal
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 (No. 303) can cream-style corn
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 3 or 4 jalapeno peppers
  • 1 large onion
  • 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb. hamburger

Directions

    Brown hamburger and drain; pour 1/2 of batter in pan.

    Sprinkle the hamburger, pepper, onion and cheese, then remainder of batter and bake in 350° oven until brown.
