Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. crescent rolls
  • 1 tsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/3 c. corn meal
  • 16 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 c. refried beans
  • 8 oz. Cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 c. onions, chopped
  • lettuce
  • tomatoes
  • taco sauce
  • sour cream
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning

Directions

    Brown beef and onions; drain.

    Add taco seasoning, beans and tomato sauce and simmer five minutes.

    Press dough in a 9 x 13-inch pan and up the sides one inch.

    Brush on oil and sprinkle corn meal over dough.

    Pour meat sauce over dough and bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes and cook until melted.

    Cut into cubes.

    Top with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, taco sauce and sour cream.
