Mexican Fried Rice

Ingredients

  • 3 qt. water
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 small can tomato paste
  • 1 can Ortega chopped chiles
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme

Directions

    In kettle place ingredients.

    Boil and simmer for at least 1 hour.

    Fry 1 quart rice in heavy pan with small amount of oil. When turning color is apparent, put rice in kettle and cook until done.

    (May have to add water.)
