Ingredients

  • 6 flour tortillas, halved
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 C. chopped onions
  • 1 can (15 oz.) Mexi-beans
  • 1 can (8 oz.) Tomato sauce
  • 1 can (4 oz.) chopped green chilies
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
  • 2 C. shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    In large skillet, brown ground beef and onions.

    Drain fat.

    Stir in the rest of ingredients, except cheese and tortillas.

    Layer half the tortillas on bottom of 11x7 baking dish.

    Spread 1/2 the meat mixture over and sprinkle with 1/2 the cheese.

    Repeat layers.

    Bake 30 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
