- 4 oz. wide noodles
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 4 to 6 Tbsp. bacon drippings or vegetable oil
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 green pepper, sliced
- 3/4 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Directions

1Brown onions in bacon fat or oil.

2Remove onions and fry noodles and ground beef until they are brown, turning frequently. Drain excess fat.

3Add onions, green peppers, tomatoes, chili powder and salt to noodles and meat.

4Cover and simmer until noodles are tender.

5Stir occasionally.
