Ingredients

  • mashed potato mix (4 servings)
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 c. green onion
  • 2 Tbsp. sour cream
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small green pepper, chopped (1/2 c.)
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 8 oz. tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. sliced pitted ripe olives
  • 2 to 3 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 large clove garlic, crushed
  • 1 c. shredded cheese (4 oz.)

    Heat oven to 425°.

    Grease a 9-inch pie plate.

    Prepare potatoes as directed, except decrease water to 1 cup and omit milk.

    Stir in egg, green onion and sour cream.

    Press potato mixture into pie plate.

    Prick bottom and sides with fork.

    Bake 15 minutes.
