  • 2/3 cups Diced Yellow Onion
  • 3 Tablespoons Oil
  • 1-1/2 cup Uncooked White Rice
  • 1 cup Chopped Bell Pepper
  • 1-1/2 can (10 Oz. Can) Tomato Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Chili Powder
  • 2 teaspoons Salt
  • 1 clove Garlic, Minced
  • 3 cups Water

Directions

    In saucepan, saute onions with oil until golden. Add rice to the pan, mix evenly. Mix in remaining ingredients. Cover, bring to boil.

    Reduce heat and simmer 30-40 minutes, until rice is tender.
