  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. rice
  • 4 to 5 c. chicken broth (fresh, canned or bouillon)
  • salt, pepper and garlic
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 c. tomato juice or stewed tomatoes

Directions

    Brown the rice in bacon grease.

    Add the remaining ingredients. Simmer until rice is fully cooked.

    You may have to add more liquid.
