- 4 strips bacon
- 1 small onion
- 1/4 medium green pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/8 tsp. chili powder
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 c. instant rice
Directions

1Chop pepper very fine and salt and pepper to taste.

2Brown bacon until crisp in skillet.

3Remove bacon.

4Add chopped onion, pepper and rice.

5Brown in bacon grease until onion is soft.

6Add tomato sauce plus 1 1/3 sauce cans of water and spices.

7Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until all liquid is absorbed.
