- 1/2 c. uncooked rice
- 1 lb. hamburger meat
- 2 Tbsp. bacon fat
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 Tbsp. hot pepper
- 1 medium green sweet pepper
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 c. tomato sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder
Directions

1Cook rice until light brown.

2Fry hamburger in fat in separate skillet.

3Add onion, garlic, hot and sweet pepper, salt, tomatoes and chili powder.

4Allow mixture to cook about 3 minutes.

5Blend in browned rice.

6Simmer slowly in skillet on top of range until done.
