- 2 lb. beef, cut in cubes
- 1/2 c. flour
- 8 c. water
- 6 onions, diced
- 4 potatoes, diced
- 4 carrots, diced
- salt to taste
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 clove garlic, minced
Directions

1Cook the suet in a kettle over medium heat until fat is rendered.

2Roll the beef in flour and add to suet.

3Cook, stirring, until brown.

4Add the water and bring to a boil.

5Reduce heat and simmer until the beef is tender.

6Add remaining ingredients and cook until the vegetables are tender.
