- 12 to 15 pasta stuffing shells, cooked
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 can chopped green chilies
- 1 c. Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 (2.8 oz.) can French fried onions
- 1 (12 oz.) jar picante sauce
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Directions

1Brown beef and drain.

2In a separate bowl, combine picante sauce, water and tomato sauce.

3Stir 1/2 cup of sauces into browned beef along with chilies, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 cup French fried onions.

4Mix well.

5Pour half of remaining sauce mixture on bottom of 9 x 12-inch baking dish.

6Stuff cooked shells with ground beef mixture.

7Arrange shells in baking dish.

8Pour remaining sauce over shells.

9Bake covered at 350° for 30 minutes.

10Top with remaining cheese and French fried onions.

11Bake uncovered for 5 more minutes.
