Microwave Caramel Corn

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. Karo syrup (dark)
  • 1 tsp. stick butter
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 gal. popped corn (I use hot air popper)

Directions

    Put sugar, salt, butter and syrup in bowl and microwave for 2 minutes.

    Take out and stir.

    Put back in microwave for 2 more minutes.

    Take out.
  5. 5
    Add baking soda and stir until it changes color and almost doubles in consistency.
