Microwave Lasagna

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 8 to 9 uncooked lasagna noodles (2 layers of 4 or 3 layers of 3)
  • 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese (2 c.)

Directions

    In large bowl, crumble beef and heat 2 to 3 minutes on High until brown.

    Drain fat.

    Stir in spaghetti sauce and water.

    In separate bowl, mix cottage cheese, egg and pepper together; set aside.

    In oblong baking dish, spoon in 1/2 cup sauce.

    Cover with layer of noodles, cheese and egg mixture, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses and sauce.

    Top with 1 to 2 more layers.

    Make sure all noodles are covered with sauce.

    Cover with wax paper; heat on High 8 minutes.

    Lower to Medium; cook for 30 more minutes.

    Let stand 15 minutes before cutting to serve.
