Microwave Salsa Dip

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese
  • 1 (12 oz.) jar picante or mild salsa (use hot or medium, if desired)
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 sliced scallions (include some of green tops)
  • Doritos or corn chips for dipping

Directions

    Place softened cream cheese in quiche dish or glass pie plate. Spread evenly over bottom of dish.

    Top with salsa and Jack cheese evenly.

    Sprinkle scallions on top.

    Cover with plastic wrap.

    Vent and microwave on High for 5 minutes, rotating dish 1/2 turn once.
