  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup butter
  • 6 cups chocolate chips
  • 1/2 chopped pecans

Directions

    Combine sugar, syrup, water and butter in a 2 qt. measure.

    Microwave at 100 percent power for 16 - 20 minutes, (hard crack or 300 degrees).

    Spread on a buttered cookie sheet, cool slightly.

    Sprinkle with chips, spread gently over candy.

    Spread nuts on top while chocolate is still soft.

    Let cool completely and break into pieces.
