- 5 green peppers, seeded
- 3/4 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. quick rice
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 8 oz. tomato sauce
- 5 slices sharp cheese
Directions

1Combine beef, rice, onion and seasonings.

2Fill peppers; place in a 10-inch microwave pie plate.

3Pour tomato sauce over.

4Cover with plastic wrap.

5Cook on High for 20 to 22 minutes or until peppers are tender and meat is no longer red.

6Remove plastic; top with cheese slices.

7Re-cover and let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
