  • 1/4 c. grease drippings (from fried meats)
  • 2 to 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/2 to 2 c. milk
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

    Brown flour in grease and add milk, salt and pepper.

    Cook on high heat until starts to thicken.

    Lower heat and stir constantly until thickened.
