  • 8 small Milky Way bars or 5 large bars
  • 1 stick oleo
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 1/4 c. buttermilk
  • 2 1/2 c. flour

Directions

    Combine Milky Way bars, nuts and oleo.

    Melt over low heat. Let cool.
  3. 3
    Combine other ingredients and fold in candy mixture. Bake in greased tube pan for 1 hour at 325° or until cake springs back.
