  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 2 c. pecans
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 2 tsp. vanilla

    Melt candy in double boiler.

    Cream sugar and oleo.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

    Add candy; beat well.

    Mix flour, salt and soda; add to this mixture with milk.

    Beat well.

    Add vanilla and pecans.

    Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325°.
