  • 1/2 lb. Milky Way candy
  • 2 sticks margarine (1 softened)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, melted and cooled
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Melt candy with 1 stick butter over low heat.

    Cream softened butter and sugar.

    Beat in eggs one at a time.

    Blend in chocolate.

    Sift together flour, salt and soda.

    Beat in flour alternately with buttermilk.

    Add vanilla; blend in candy and nuts.

    Bake in a greased and floured tube pan about 1 1/4 hours at 350°.

    Cool on rack 10 minutes before removing from pan.
