- 1 lb. butter or margarine
- 6 eggs (at room temperature)
- 4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. milk
- 1 tsp. almond extract (can substitute 1 tsp. lemon)
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine sugar and butter.

2Cream until light and fluffy.

3Add eggs, one at a time.

4Beat 1 minute after each addition.

5Add flour to creamed mixture alternating with milk.

6Beat well after each addition.

7Bake in 10-inch tube pan at 300° for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
