- 1 lb. butter, softened
- 3 c. sugar
- 6 eggs
- 4 c. sifted cake flour
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Cream butter; gradually add sugar, beating at medium speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy.

2Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.

3Add flour to creamed mixture alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour.

4Mix after each addition.

5Stir in flavorings.

6Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.

7Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 40 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.

8Cool in pan 10 to 15 minutes; remove to wire rack.

9Cool.
