  • 20 oz. mince meat
  • 3/4 lb. raisins (1 box)
  • 1 c. nuts
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 2 c. flour
  • 2 egg yolks, beaten
  • 1 tsp. baking soda, dissolved in 1 Tbsp. boiling water
  • 2 egg whites, beaten and added last

Directions

    Mix ingredients together and bake at 300° to 325° for 1 hour. Do not overbake.

    Let stand for a while in pan.

    Grease and line pan with wax paper.
