Ingredients
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine, softened
- 1 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. mincemeat
- 1 egg, well beaten
- melted butter
Directions

1Combine cream cheese with butter.

2Stir in flour.

3Cover and chill 1 hour.

4Roll out on lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness.

5Cut in 2 inch rounds.

6Drop about 2 teaspoons mincemeat on each round.

7Rub a little beaten egg around half edge, fold over and seal, allowing room to expand as it cooks.

8Arrange on ungreased baking sheet and chill 30 minutes.

9Heat oven to 350°. Brush turnovers lightly with melted butter.

10Bake 10 to 15 minutes. Cool completely before storing.
