Directions

1Beat butter and sugar together until smooth

10In a separate bowl, whisk together egg yolks, sugar and cornstarch.

11Slowly, add heated milk into the egg mixture, while whisking, THEN return to the pot.

12Over medium heat, whisk the milk Constantly until thickened. Remove from heat and strain.

13Stir in butter, almond extract and almond liqueur.

14Cover top of the pastry with a filling Directly plastic wrap and chill at Least 2 hrs Before assembling.
