  • 1 package (11 Oz. Package) Pizza Dough (I Used Pillsbury Thin Crust)
  • 4 ounces, weight Mozzarella Cheese (block)
  • 1/4 cups Diced Turkey Pepperoni
  • 1/4 cups Diced Green Peppers
  • 1/4 cups Diced Mushrooms
  • 1/4 cups Diced Broccoli Florets (not The Stem)
  • 3/4 cups Marinara Or Pizza Sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon Italian Spices (optional)

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    Cut the mozzarella block into 1-inch cubes.

    Roll the pizza dough out and cut into 3x5 rectangles.

    Place one cube of cheese onto the bottom half of each rectangle.

    Add a pinch of each vegetable/protein over the cheese, a pinch of the Italian herb blend (if using ) and top with a spoonful of sauce.

    Seal the calzone by folding the other half over the bottom half and either folding the bottom edges over the top edges, crimping them, or using a fork to seal.

    Bake at 400 degrees for about 10 minutes or so.

    Youll know theyre done once they begin to turn golden brown.
