- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate mini chips
Directions

1Heat oven to 350°.

2Melt butter in saucepan; stir in brown sugar.

3Remove from heat; pour into small mixer bowl.

4Cool.

5Beat egg and vanilla into cooled mixture.

6Add flour and salt, mixing just until well blended.

7Stir in mini chips.

8Spoon into greased 8 or 9-inch square pan.

9Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until brownie begins to pull away from edges of pan.

10Cool; frost if desired. Cut into squares.

11Yields 16 brownies.
