  • 1 12 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 (18 1/4 ounce) package yellow cake mix (white cake mix will work, too)
  • 1 14 cups water (or as specified on cake mix box)
  • 12 cup butter, softened (1 stick, or as specified on cake mix box)
  • 3 eggs (or as specified on cake mix box)
  • 1 tablespoon ground nutmeg

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 24 mini muffin pan cups (1-3/4 inch).

    Combine sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

    Prepare cake mix according to package directions; stir nutmeg into batter.

    Fill prepared mini muffin cups two-thirds full.

    Bake about 12 minutes or until lightly browned and toothpick inserted into centers comes out clean.
