Ingredients
- 12 slices bread
- mustard
- 12 slices cheese or 12 slices havarti cheese
- 12 slices smoked turkey (or any combination) or 12 slices ham (or any combination) or 12 slices roast beef (or any combination)
- 12 cup Carnation Evaporated Milk (regular, 2%, or fat free)
- 3 eggs
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons crisco vegetable oil
Directions

1Spread desired amount of mustard on one slice of bread.

2Place one slice of cheese on top of mustard.

3Add two slices of pickles and two slices of deli meat.

4Top with another slice of cheese and cover with a slice of bread.

5Assemble remaining 5 sandwiches.

6press sandwiches together lightly and trim crusts.

7Slice sandwich into 4 triangles or squares.

8In a medium bowl, beat evaporated milk, eggs and salt.

9Dip sandwich bites into egg mixture.

10Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat; grill sandwich bites until brown on both sides, adding more oil if necessary.

11Turn down the heat if the pan gets too hot.

12TIP: You can serve these as an appetizer or a main course.

13For that added touch, garnish each with an easy homemade salsa, made with chopped pickles, red onion, cherry tomatoes, green peppers, and fresh cilantro.
