Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/3 c. oil
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • chocolate shot or nuts (optional)

Directions

    Combine softened cream cheese, egg, sugar and salt; mix well. Blend in chocolate chips; set aside.

    Sift together flour, sugar, cocoa, soda and salt.

    Stir in water, oil and vanilla.

    Line miniature cupcake pans with paper liners.

    Fill each cup 1/3 full with cocoa mixture; top with 1 teaspoon cheese mixture.

    Sprinkle with ground nuts or chocolate shot, if desired.

    Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
