Mint Cilantro Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch cilantro
  • 1 bunch mint
  • 2 jalapeno peppers
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 T red wine vinegar
  • 1 T cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp Kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp MSG
  • 1/4 cup sour cream

Directions

    Remove the stems from the mint and cilantro and rinse well.

    Toss everything into a blender and mix well.

    Pour mix into an ice cube tray and cover with cellophane.
  4. 4
    Once the cubes are fully frozen you can remove them to a zip-lock bag for long-term storage.

    Take a few out at a time and thaw for whatever dish you want.

    We like to put it on Cuban sandwiches or use it as a side when we order Chicken Tikka Masala.
