  • 1 c. buttermilk
  • 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. cornmeal
  • 1 Tbsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 Tbsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • vegetable oil

    Drain well and place in a shallow container.
