- 2 egg whites
- 1/4 tsp. lemon juice
- 3/4 c. sugar
- dash of salt
- 1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
- 6 oz. pkg. Nestle's mint chocolate bits
- green food coloring
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2Beat egg whites until stiff.

3Mix salt and cream of tartar and add to sugar then add this gradually to egg whites.

4Add vanilla and lemon juice then fold in the chocolate bits.

5Add 4 to 5 drops of green food coloring.

6Drop by teaspoonfuls on cookie sheets.

7Put in oven.

8Turn off heat. Leave in oven 8 hours.

9Take out and serve.
