Ingredients
- 2 medium onions
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- 3/4 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. dried leaf mint, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
Directions

1Preheat oven to 400°.

2Line bottom of 8-inch baking pan with foil.

3Cut onions in half crosswise; remove skins.

4Place, cut side down, in pan.

5Whisk remaining ingredients in small bowl until well blended; drizzle over onions.

6Lift onions and swirl in liquid so cut sides are moistened.

7Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour or until onions are tender and golden brown, basting with pan drippings several times during roasting.

8(During end of baking, liquid evaporates and cut sides of onions become glazed.)

9Serve onion halves cut side up.
