- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 1 (15 oz.) pkg. creamy white frosting mix
- 6 to 8 drops oil of peppermint
- 1 or 2 drops food coloring (red or green)
Directions

1Melt butter with milk in top of double boiler placed over boiling water (upper pan should not touch water).

2Add frosting mix; stir until smooth.

3Cook and stir over rapidly boiling water for 5 minutes or until smooth and glossy.

4Add flavoring and desired food coloring. Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper, swirling tops of candies with teaspoon.

5(If mixture thickens, add a few drops of warmed milk.)

6Cool candy until firm.

7Makes 3 1/2 to 4 dozen.
