  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, or 2 lb. fresh peas
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. sugar
  • 1 sprig fresh mint, or 1/2 tsp. dried mint
  • 1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice

Directions

    Cook peas in boiling water with salt, sugar and mint, about 10 minutes or until peas are tender.

    Drain.

    Combine butter and lemon juice, pour over peas.
