- 4 slice Mackerel
- 200 ml Water
- 2 tbsp Sake
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Shiro miso
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 clove Minced ginger
Directions

1Cut the mackerel in half and pour hot water over to remove the odor.

2Put all the ingredients except for the mackerel in a frying pan.

3Turn to medium heat.

4Wash the mackerel gently.

5When the sauce in the frying pan starts boiling, cook the mackerel.

6Spoon the sauce over the mackerel.

7Cover with parchment paper, cover with a lid and simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.

8Take the lid off and cook until the sauce thickens.
