Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. cocoa
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 c. shortening (liquid)
- 1 c. nuts
- 3 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Mix first 5 ingredients, then add nuts and vanilla.

2Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan, greased and floured (or sprayed with Pam cooking spray).

3Bake at 300° for 35 minutes.

4Cake should look like isn't finished baking.

5Remove from oven and spread marshmallows (as desired) over top of cake.

6Put back in oven.

7Bake at 350° until marshmallows soften and puff up.

8Remove from oven and let cool for 1 hour, then spread on icing.
