Mixed Berry Mint Slushies

  • FOR THE MINT INFUSED SYRUP:
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 5 whole Mint Sprigs, Fresh
  • FOR THE SLUSHIE:
  • 1 cup Frozen Berries (strawberries, Raspberries, Blackberries & Blueberries, Your Choice)
  • 2 cups Ice
  • 4 Tablespoons Mint Infused Syrup (more Or Less To Taste)
  • 1/2 cups Orange Juice
  • 6 whole Mint Leaves, Fresh

Directions

    First, make mint-infused simple syrup. In a medium saucepan, add water and sugar on medium heat. Continuously stir until the sugar is dissolved (about 3 minutes). Add mint sprigs to the pan and remove pan from heat. Allow simple syrup to cool for at least 5-10 minutes before storing in a mason jar in the fridge.

    Add alternating layers of ice and berries into a blender. Then add 4-5 tablespoons of mint-infused simple syrup (to taste) and orange juice and blend.

    Add 3-4 mint leaves to each glass and pour slushie into it.

    Makes two 10 ounce drinks. Serve immediately with a thick straw.
