  • 2 c. water
  • 1/2 c. dry apricot halves
  • 1/2 c. small pitted prunes
  • 2 tbsp. golden brown raisins
  • 6 whole allspice
  • 2 (2 inch) sticks cinnamon
  • 1 (16 ounce.) can chunky mixed fruits in juice, undrained
  • 1 (11 ounce.) can mandarin oranges in lite syrup, undrained

Directions

    Combine first 6 ingredients in a saucepan; bring to a boil.

    Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 8 min or possibly till tender.

    Combine apricot mix and remaining ingredients in a large bowl; stir gently.

    Cover and store in refrigerator up to 5 days.

    Throw away allspice and cinnamon sticks before serving.
