- 4 qt. popped corn
- 2 c. dry roasted nuts
- 1 1/4 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. butter
- 2/3 c. dark corn syrup
- 1 tsp. pure vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Preheat oven to 250°.

2In large roasting pan, spread the popped corn and the dry roasted nuts.

3In heavy saucepan, combine the sugar, butter and dark corn syrup.

4Cook until mixture boils. Boil for 5 minutes without stirring.

5Remove from heat.

6Stir in the vanilla and baking soda.

7Pour mixture over corn and nuts; stir to coat.

8Bake, uncovered, at 250° for 1 hour.

9Stir occasionally.

10Cool; break apart.

11Store in covered container.
