- 2 lb. medium peeled shrimp
- 2 cans chicken and rice soup
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped okra
- 2 Tbsp. file
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 qt. water
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Brown flour in oil. Add onion and celery and saute lightly. Add soup, water, okra and shrimp.

2Salt and pepper to taste.

3Add Worcestershire sauce and simmer for 1 hour.

4Turn off heat. Add file after boiling stops. Serve over rice with garlic bread.
