Mock Indian Pudding

Ingredients

  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 c. milk
  • 1/3 c. molasses
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 c. cornflakes

Directions

    Mix together beaten egg, milk, molasses, sugar, melted butter and salt.

    Add cornflakes.

    Cook slowly in double boiler without stirring or set in pan of warm water and bake 1 hour at 375°. Serve with cream or ice cream.
