Ingredients: 1 1/2 c. oil; 2 c. sugar; 3 eggs; 3 c. flour; 1 tsp. salt; 1 tsp. cinnamon; 1 tsp. baking soda; 1 tsp. vanilla; 1 c. chopped walnuts; 3 c. sliced apples; 1 c. raisins

3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts
3 c. sliced apples
1 c. raisins

Preheat oven to 350°.

Beat oil and sugar together thoroughly. Add eggs and beat until mixture is creamy.

Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda.

Stir into batter.

Ad all the remaining ingredients and stir to blend.

Turn mixture into greased and floured tube pan.

Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until done.

Cool in pan before turning out.

Serve at room temperature with ice cream, if desired.
