- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. soda
- 3/4 c. cocoa
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. oil
- 1 c. milk plus 1 c. hot coffee
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Sift together dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.

2Add oil, coffee and milk.

3Mix at medium speed for 2 minutes.

4Add eggs and vanilla.

5Beat 2 more minutes.

6(Batter will be thin.)

7Pour into two greased and floured cake pans or 2 (9 x 1 1/2-inch) pans.

8Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 325°.

9Cool cake 15 minutes before removing from pans.

10Frost with favorite icing.
