  • 2 c all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 3/4 c unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 c vegetable oil
  • 1 c hot brewed coffee
  • 1 c milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    Sift dry ingredients together 3 times. Combine oil, milk, and coffee; add to dry ingredients at one time. Mix at medium speed for 2 min. Add eggs and vanilla extract; beat 2 more min. Batter will be thin. Pour into two greased and floured cake pans. Bake at 325° for 25-30 min. Cool cake 15 min before removing from pan. cool completely and frost with your favorite white frosting. 8 to 10 servings.
