Ingredients

  • 90 grams Butter or margarine
  • 20 grams Honey
  • 2 Eggs
  • 80 grams Sugar
  • 1 lemon Grated lemon peel
  • 100 grams Flour
  • 1 dash less than 1 teaspoon Baking powder

Directions

    Melt the butter and honey in a small pot over low heat.

    You can use a microwave for this step.

    Do not forget to put a lid on!

    Break the eggs, add the sugar, and beat them together until thick and smooth.

    Add the lemon zest and mix.

    Sift the cake flour and baking powder together into the bowl from step 2.

    Mix gently.

    Add the honey butter mixture and mix.

    Pour the batter into shell molds or madeline molds, 80% way up.

    Preheat the oven to 180C and bake for 8 minutes.

    Lower the oven to 160C and bake for 4 more minutes.
